Collaborative store event
August 17th, 2018
In collaboration with Four Amsterdam, Almost not done hosted a special installation in honor of the progress in high fashion. 4 different installations, made by Almost not done showcased initial inspirations of various leading designers. With these visuals we wanted to show the important history of popular brands to the younger public. As a platform, Almost not done always feels it is important to share knowledge about the histroy of contemporary art and fashion.
Many of the current biggest brands have taken inspiration from older collections in which we think showcasing the evolution learns you more about the current state of fashion.
See how brands like OFF-WHITE, Vetements and Calvin Klein 205W39NYC are influenced by the likes of earlier Maison Margiela, Helmut Lang and Raf Simons collections. One of the installations was focussed on different Raf Simons collections, presented on old tv screens in a setting inspired on his last runway show. As Raf Simons is the most influential designer in the field of high fashion mixed with street culture, with a rich history of collections it was a no brainer to highlight this brand
